    Editor's Note: The two cobblestone houses were used well into the 1900's, but eventually deteriorated, were abandoned and became ruins. The dead-end road Paradise Lane was abandoned and no longer exists. The excerpt below of the 1860 Niagara Orleans Counties map has Paradise Lane and 3 buildings shown in the colorized highlight. It is not known at present which two of the three buildings were cobblestone.
